An Interview with Sindy

When I came to Honduras the first time in 2003, we spent a lot of time at the Hogar de Niños (Children's Home) in Catacamas. Being with those kids and experiencing their joy in simplicity changed my life forever.
One of the girls, who was 6 years old when I was there the first time, is still there. Her name is Sindy and she is an incredible girl. She's an older sister and important helper to around 20 other kids in the home. I got to sit down and talk to her about her life in the Home and her plans for the future.
Me and Sindy back in 2003, when she was a lot younger and I had a lot more hair. We took the kids on a hike this day.
