We spent last week in Boquete, Panama attending Spanish classes. Debbie and Alan (Kelly's parents) are missionaries in Boquete and have a dorm that was previously used to house Nbobe Indian high school girls. It’s not being used right now and they offered it to us for the week during our studies. Sweetness! It was a beautiful house with a couch, super comfy bed (if you remember we slept in a tent for 4 weeks sharing a twin sized piece of foam), a washer and dryer that left your clothes smelling like heaven instead of must, and a humongous kitchen!!!
The sheets just came out of the dryer warm and smelling so nice I couldn't help but cuddle with them on the couch....yes, like a child. It was worth it though. You should try it next time you wash blankets, towels, or sheets.
Spanish class was great and was made better by having our own place to come home to in the evenings to study. We are super grateful to Debbie and Alan for the hospitality. The hospitality continued when our Peace Corps friend, Ian, let us crash at his place the night before leaving Panama.
Learning in process.....
